The Aristocrat is a very popular place downtown that serves wine and craft cocktail bar with wine tastings every Wednesday evening, and many other great restaurants and social gatherings. But the vista does not just entertain for lunch or after hours, they also have great shopping centers around as well.
Colonial Life Arena
The Colonial Life Arena is located at 801 Lincoln St in downtown Columbia. Home to the Men’s and Women’s basketball team. But this building also host a lot of other activities as well, from Monster Truck shows to Disney On Ice, Winter Jam, comedy shows, and many more events with big named stars and local ones. They have a schedule of events going on all the time. A great place to spend Time with family and friends.
With many museums around, there is one that many love, especially the kids. The EdVenture museum is a big attraction for many all over the state of South Carolina. Schools all around come up to Columbia for field trips and the enjoyment of this museum as it is the largest children museum in South Carolina. With 300 exhibits for children to learn different things and have fun at the same, it’s no wonder why it is a favorite fun place with educational experience.
Riverbanks Zoo & Garden
Riverbanks Zoo & Garden is a 170 Acres zoo with many animals from all parts of the world. With over 2,000 animals and a steady growing Botanical Garden, Riverbanks have a lot to offer all year around. You can even feed certain animals at certain times of the day making it a surreal event. Riverbanks is not just for kids, adults also can partake in the fun as well. They have zipline that goes over the Saluda River. The Botanical Garden has also been called “one of the 20 Great Public Gardens across America” by HGTV.
